Fighting Intensifies Near Syrian Capital
Missile fire over Damascus suburbs. Amateur video, which can't be independently verified, appears to capture missiles fired from a military airport as rebels renew attacks on the Syrian capital. Amid failed ceasefires and feeble international efforts, the war to oust President Bashar al-Assad is entering its 20th month. With no sign the destruction will ease, neighbouring Turkey plans to arm its border after Assad's forces launched an air offensive against rebels in the northeast last week.
