Guy Laroche Pays Homage to Marlene Dietrich
Guy Laroche's autumn/winter 2013 collection, revealed on Day Two of Paris Fashion Week (February 27), was an ode to the femme fatale. The looks shown on the runway were all about gender-bending silhouettes that contrasted fierce femininity with potent masculinity. When asked about the inspiration behind his latest collection, the French label's Creative Director Marcel Marongiu cited style icon Marlene Dietrich.
