Katie Wedell is a reporter on the Cox Media Group Ohio Breaking News Team. She covers breaking and spot news for the Dayton Daily News, WHIO-TV and WHIO News Talk Radio.

She grew up in suburban Chicago and is a 2007 graduate of Miami University. She worked for Cox Media Group as an online content producer for two years before becoming a reporter in January 2010. She lives in Dayton.
