Beavercreek resident John Mitchel has filed a complaint that the city has illegally coordinated a campaign with a citizens group for the passage of a city income tax. The mailing at the top was paid for by the Committee for Tax Equity. The bottom mailing was paid for by the city. In his complaint to the Ohio Elections Commission, Mitchel points to “the profound similarity” between the two mailings.
