OSU basketball adds forward, guard to roster

COLUMBUS — After losing four top players from last season, the Ohio State basketball team is adding two junior-college reinforcements.
Coach Thad Matta confirmed Wednesday, May 7, that 6-foot-2 point guard Jeremie Simmons and 6-9 forward Nikola Kecman (KETZ'-muhn) are joining the Buckeyes.

Simmons is a Chicago native who played at Mott Community College in Flint, Mich. Also recruited by Dayton, he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Kecman, born in Serbia, will have three years left after transferring from Eastern Arizona College.
OSU is losing four of its top six players from last season. Guard Jamar Butler and forwards Othello Hunter and Matt Terwilliger are graduating, and center Kosta Koufos is leaving for the NBA draft after one season.
