You’ve got to be kidding me. Don’t check your breasts and no test until 50? My niece just went through a battle with cancer after she discovered her lump. She’s in her 40s. Thank God she went and got her test. She’s fine now but, if she had let it go, she’d be dead. How dare them make that kind of proposal. ...

Thank you to the Verity band and orchestra instructors and the sixth-grade children. All of you are awesome. This was the best concert I’ve heard from beginners. The audience was wild with cheers and praise. Children, keep your dreams alive and you will succeed. From a proud granny.

I have a question for the city of Middletown administrators. Lately we’ve had some things happening in the news. We have a new VA hospital going up out by Atrium. They are building a new building when we have a Swallen’s building downtown that could be used for that. It is closer to where the veterans are who are going to use it. We have an empty building but now we are building a new one. We have Joe Morgan building a new car dealership and — one exit down — we have a vacant car dealership. I want to know what city administrators are doing to let anybody know about these vacant buildings that we have, instead of building new ones. I don’t understand why we keep building new buildings when we have all of these empty buildings not being used. ...
