‘This is not the America I know’

I believe that H.R. 3962, the “Affordable Health Care For America Act,” is not for America. I am not sure where it is written in the Constitution that, in order to be an American citizen, you must purchase health care (insurance) — or purchase anything, as a matter of fact. If you do not purchase health care (insurance), you will be fined and could go to jail.

This is not the America that I know. The majority of Americans feel the very same way. This is the wrong bill for America. We can do better and keep the America that we all know and love.

This bill is not about bringing the cost down. This bill will increase what I pay for health care, take away my right to control my health care choices, give the federal government more control of my life and is unconstitutional.

The representatives who pushed this bill through did so without public support. I think that the representatives should rethink their votes and listen to their constituents.
