‘This is not the America I know’

I believe that H.R. 3962, the “Affordable Health Care For America Act,” is not for America. I am not sure where it is written in the Constitution that, in order to be an American citizen, you must purchase health care (insurance) — or purchase anything, as a matter of fact. If you do not purchase health care (insurance), you will be fined and could go to jail.

This is not the America that I know. The majority of Americans feel the very same way. This is the wrong bill for America. We can do better and keep the America that we all know and love.

This bill is not about bringing the cost down. This bill will increase what I pay for health care, take away my right to control my health care choices, give the federal government more control of my life and is unconstitutional.

The representatives who pushed this bill through did so without public support. I think that the representatives should rethink their votes and listen to their constituents.

The insurance copanys are as we speak are upset with the amount of fine one might have to pay for not having ins. They want it to be larger. The bigger the fine, the more people will have to purchase thier brand. They have a while yet, and believe me, they will spend more billions again to get this health care bill killed in the making. Shame on these huge fat cats and all of the repubs supporting them.

More questions...is socialism more consistent with the Christian doctrine that this country displays to the world? As I see it, capitalism is void of values, much less Christian values. To compete, to exploit, to be greedy is in no way consistent with ideals of Christianity.

You need to get a job writing fiction. This kind of crap people are making up about this bill is amazing. Have you read the 1000 pages. I have. You must know everything about it. If you can afford insurance you are in the minority. The majority of Americans don't feel the same way you do. Anyway, sit back relax you are along for the ride. You can't do a thing about it. The people in Washington do not represent us they represent big buisness.
