On Feb. 2 Madison Twp. decided on one issue. The county board of elections accurately forecast a 20 to 25 percent voter turnout, a little over 1,100 votes. Yet the BOE called its full cadre of resources into action as if it was a national election with numerous candidates and issues. A full staff of election personnel was employed at each precinct. All voting machines were in place. ... Wonder what the cost per vote was to us, the taxpayers? Financial responsibility, BOE? I don’t think so.

Regarding the caller who asked me not to leave my garbage out on the curb all week long: Some us don’t like living in a house with a bunch of garbage. Maybe it would be easier to just kill all the varmints.
