Dogs (are) more important than people? The city used the coldest summer in years to determine that the attendance at Sunset Pool didn’t warrant the re-opening.

There was a person willing to take care of the pool with the support of $20,000 from the city. So another of the few perks of Middletown is not there this summer. Wonder what the numbers would have been this year?

Now they are thinking about a dog park. It may cost $27,263 at the least and probably $103,826. I’m in real estate and am supposed to be able to talk up Middletown. We can’t have a community pool but don’t worry — we have a dog park. You must be kidding. Shame on us.
