I guess the Middfest committee did not like Frank Frisch’s idea of having a Kentucky Middfest. Instead, they picked a country that not too many people know about and, in my opinion, don’t really care to know about. So once again, I will not be attending Middfest.

I see where the city is focusing on corner drug deals. I thought that’s what they should have been doing — and had been doing for years. The problem is not the drug deals on the corner; it’s that, when they arrest them, the courts let them right back out. They are in and out of jail. ...

Wanda Glover’s vehicle had (John) Soppanish’s election signs on it. She personally endorsed John in The Journal and placed his election signs around town.
