Main Street vs. Wall Street

President (Barack) Obama turned down a career on Wall Street for a career on Main Street. Now he’s bailing out Wall Street and ignoring Main Street.

No wonder a Chevrolet is going to last 250,000 miles — when people drive them only 35 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Regarding the festival downtown: Why can’t we have both? Why can’t we learn about other countries and learn more about people who are from Kentucky, especially eastern Kentucky. That would make everybody happy. There’s no reason to have all of one and none of the other. ...

A serious suggestion - why not "Eastern Ky meets Eastern Europe" ? That's the blend of cultures that I grew up with in Meadowlawn, and the blend that built Armco and that still adds so much to Middletown today. Obviously not all inclusive you could do a whole series to celebrate an amazingly diverse city - Africa, the Mediterranean, etc. It's a starting point, and something to build on. I am forever grateful that I grew up with a rich cultural mix.
