The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati strongly condemns the attack on the Holocaust Museum that occurred in Washington, D.C., on June 11. We stand solidly with the intended victims of this heinous crime.
It is indeed most regrettable that there are, even today, hateful, bigoted individuals in this country who resort to killing innocent people in pursuit of their deranged ideologies. Racism, religious or ethnic intolerance, bigotry and violence cannot be accepted in any civilized society and deserves our redoubled commitment to fight it in every way possible.
Our heartfelt sympathies are extended to the family of Stephen T. Johns, the brave security guard who laid down his life in protecting others.
