I drove by Goldman Park, and seeing those little ball teams playing brings back a lot of good memories. It’s been three or four years since I had my all-star team from Madison, and it was some of the best times of my life. Don’t know when but — somehow, some way — I’ve got to get back and coach again. There’s nothing like it. It is like having a bunch of little daughters. Wish I could do it again.
Way to go, City Council. The only businesses we’ve got left on Central Avenue are used-goods stores. Now you are going to target them. When you have meetings, just go to sleep and don’t do anything.
... It is true — people are way too judgmental nowadays. Life is complex, and people should realize that. As far as discipline in schools, we probably need more discipline, but most of it could be that people don’t have enough good daily habits. Have you ever noticed that people who aren’t organized always seem to be in a hurry or ill at ease? People should get more organized daily. Also, about the tattoos: Let the people get them. ... People are too judgmental. Everyone should look for the best in someone. If we could all take one day that we look for the best in everyone, wouldn’t it be a beautiful world?
To the person who asked, “When did people just give up on themselves?”: I do not go out to impress you or anyone else. That goes for other people, as well. If you had something to occupy your time, instead of people-watching, you might get something done, other than shopping and eating. ...
I agree with Joyce Planck that you cannot continue blaming everything on George Bush. He is not the one in control. As all us good Christians know, it is only God who is in control.

There is no doubt in my mind that these stores do nothing more than encourage theft because it is a quick source of cash.
