The morning of March 9, while volunteering at the Charleston (S.C.) VA Medical Center, I received a phone call that my pal and former colleague, Officer Mike Davis, had collapsed while at work.
Since then I have learned that the staff at Wildwood School, and especially Nurse Sally (Kash), who incidentally grew up as a neighbor of Mike, performed brilliantly in resuscitating Officer Davis.
Great job, Wildwood School staff! I stand with others of the Middletown community who are wishing the family of Officer Mike Davis for a quick and complete recovery.
Having worked with Officer Davis for 20-plus years, I know what a good person he is and how much he loves the children of Middletown he so proudly serves. Get well, Mike.
