Regarding the Michael Fox affair in the Middletown Journal: It is quite extensive. The only thing is — there’s no mention whatsoever of a (political) party. Come now. Complete the news.

A couple of days ago while driving through Franklin, I happened to notice a man driving to the right of me. He was holding his little white poodle — which was perched, looking out the window — and he also was talking on his cell phone. With the dog, cell phone and driving his car, I say this is taking multi-tasking overboard. If the animal had lost its balance, I would have hated to see what move he would have made first.

In regard to a mailing that went out in Madison Twp. and was received on Oct. 30: It was from someone who was bashing a candidate. Everybody has the right to his own opinion, but I think my main problem with the mailing (was that) this person didn’t even include his name or affiliation. He is a coward. If you have something to say, at least have the courage to let them know who (said it).

What’s with the Ohio Highway Patrol running traffic on South Verity Parkway near Yankee Road? Are Middletown police so busy writing tickets that they need help? Or is I-75 so dangerous that the OSP came into Middletown to try to meet their quota?

Regarding Trenton water bills: I bought a house. Hadn’t moved in for two months. Just used the water to clean. No showers, no bath, and no laundry was done — and our water bill was like $47. Why is the water bill so expensive?
