I wish to say praises and hats off to Anita Scott Jones for her deep concern and great desire to get to the roots of problems existing in Middletown.
There’s no need to sweep down the spider webs if you don’t kill the spider.
I’ll totally agree with her. This town has a monster to deal with at this time.
I’m so tired of those that encourage the “Girls Gone Wild,” gambling, drinking, prostitution and all manner of crime in this town.
What kind of example are we setting for our youngsters?
I truly believe charity begins at home. Yes, we have people in Middletown who need help, better housing, and many benefits — through no fault of their own.
I’m bitterly opposed to the Section 8 waiting list being opened up to people from Dayton, Hamilton, Cincinnati and all over.
We know we’ve been accused of being a dying city.
I pray you good, God-fearing citizens come out of the closets and demand a change.
On many of our streets, front yards are littered, rutted out, trashed — with junk and garbage everywhere.
Oh, Middletown. Where is your pride?
Wake up, shape up, or we will die.
