Your editorial about animal abuse was very well-stated. When does hunting become abuse?
Hunting was a necessity to gather food and still is around the world. But to say the 17-year-olds might be confused between marginal hunting and blatant abuse of a helpless pet is a real cop-out.
The abusers knew what they were doing, and I will never understand their twisted minds. I agree (that) public response to the alpaca’s killing seems greater than the abuse of children, elderly, homeless and needy people you report every day. You were wise to expose our desensitized response.
