Sarah Palin may make SNL appearance

Watch out, Tina Fey — you’re fair game. And when Sarah Palin’s taking the shots, it could get bloody.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that it’s looking more and more likely that Palin will appear on ”Saturday Night Live” to have some fun with Tina Fey.

Fey’s impression is getting laughs from both sides of the aisle, leaving the McCain camp in a tizzy about just how to respond. Some staffers are content with Palin joking about the SNL routines on the campaign trail; others, including the governor herself, think a return punch on the NBC airwaves (or, for Time Warner customers, on NBC.com the day after) is what’s needed.

Some sort of Palin tweak of Fey’s American Express commercials, perhaps? This coming weekend’s SNL will be a rerun; the next original show will be Oct. 18.

In the meantime, check out Fey’s Palin routine here and here, then help McCain’s advisors make up their mind. Your vote counts!

if a parody parodies a parody of themselves, do they collapse into a black hole?

SARAH SIXPACK AS PRESIDENT Maybe someone could get her to answer some real questions. without a script or flash cards. A Vice President or President that winks and says GOLLY? What about her dealing with the economic crisis, the war or the security of our country? Given McCains age and health history Ms. Palin could in deed become Commander in Chief. MAKES ME ILL People are losing their homes and way of life. I dont think that is funny.

If more people would lighten up and see that there is a funny (no, make that hysterical) side to the campaigns, I think we’d have a lot more fun with it. I’m considering voting for Donald Duck.

I don’t think Fey would agree to appear with Palin. She’s been pretty blunt about her opposition to Palin’s candidacy, would be surprised to see her participate in something that might generate favorable publicity for the governor.

I agree with you, Eve. On the other hand, she’d look pretty petty if she didn’t appear.

Sarah Palin is absolutely brilliand and is able to link with people due to her natural self with ingrained sincerity and honesty. The impersonator sounds like silly and stupid.

Palin would seem rather dull next to Fey, who is prettier, smarter, funnier, and (by the admittedly low standards of the Republican Party) ready to lead the nation!

Go Sarah! Go on the show and show the world what a fake you are! I’d PAY MONEY to see that! Are you listening, Time Warner? OH - I AM paying money, but I’m not seeing that !!!!!!!!
