MIAMI VALLEY —

Clouds are breaking up and will continue to do so through early Wednesday evening. Some high clouds move in towards Thursday morning.

A good amount of sun is expected to start Thursday, then clouds will gradually increase Thursday afternoon. High Thursday afternoon will be in the upper 20s. Thursday night around midnight or after will be a wintry mix that may start as some snow north or even some snow or sleet I-70 south, but a fairly quick change to freezing rain through early Friday morning.

It should still be freezing rain when the sun rises Friday, then as it tapers down changing to rain from south to north from 8 to about 10 a.m., some will still have freezing rain through the morning commute. We will climb into the low to mid 40s Friday afternoon.

A quiet weekend with some sun Saturday and more sun Sunday. Highs will be near 40 both days.

Monday will be milder in the mid 40s with clouds arriving, then rain Monday night which will likely end as some light snow next Tuesday.
