SOUTHWEST OHIO —

A round of severe storms moving through the midwest today will push winds and rain into Ohio.

The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Weather Outlook alert stating the risk of severe thunderstorms exists for Arkansas, northern Texas, northern Louisiana, parts of Tennessee and Missouri. Tornados are possible, the outlook states.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms around that region which includes the Southern Plains to the central Gulf Coast states and into the lower Ohio Valley on Tuesday evening.

The greatest threat to the Southwest Ohio region is strong winds and a small chance of hail, according to the Storm Prediction Center.
