PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL
Edgewood edges Mt. Healthy
TRENTON — Maura Hackney scored 17 points and Amanda Hobbs added 15 Wednesday night as the Edgewood High School girls basketball team edged visiting Mount Healthy 43-40.
Edgewood improves to 9-5 overall and 4-4 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference West Division. The Owls fell to 8-6, 5-3.
MEETING
Roots to speak at Old Jocks Club
The Old Jocks Club will meet at noon Thursday at Wildwood Golf Club.
The guest speaker will be golf official Dick Roots, who replaces the originally scheduled speaker, Tim Bray.
