Miami stats: Quarterback Zac Dysert is 125-of-187 for 1,413 yards and 11 touchdowns with three interceptions. The top receivers are Dawan Scott (27 catches, 441 yards, 4 TDs), Andy Cruse (38 catches, 274 yards, 3 TDs), David Frazier (nine catches, 151 yards, 1 TD), Nick Harwell (11 catches, 141 yards, 1 TD) and Steve Marck (nine catches, 135 yards). The leading rushers are Dysert (43 carries, 183 yards, 1 TD), Jamire Westbrook (44 carries, 181 yards, 1 TD) and Spencer Treadwell (36 carries, 135 yards, 1 TD).

Cincinnati stats: Quarterback Munchie Legaux is 53-of-97 for 789 yards and seven touchdowns with three interceptions. The top receivers are Kenbrell Thompkins (12 catches, 204 yards, 1 TD), Ralph David Abernathy (eight catches, 170 yards, 3 TDs), Damon Julian (eight catches, 151 yards, 2 TDs) and Anthony McClung (eight catches, 101 yards, 1 TD). The leading rushers are George Winn (52 carries, 318 yards, 2 TDs) and Legaux (25 carries, 169 yards).

A long time ago: Miami’s last win over UC was a 44-16 decision in 2005. The head coaching matchup was Shane Montgomery for the RedHawks and Mark Dantonio for the Bearcats.

Home bodies: UC has won 22 straight nonconference games at Nippert Stadium, dating back to a 30-24, three-overtime triumph over Temple on Sept. 20, 2003.

Showing discipline: Miami is averaging just 29.6 penalty yards per game, the sixth-lowest average among Football Bowl Subdivision teams.

Representing the Tribe: Bearcats junior Arryn Chenault, a Fairfield High School graduate, is the starting free safety. He has 17 total tackles and two interceptions this season.

Special teams: UC has a solid kicking game with place-kicker Tony Miliano (5-of-6 on field goals, 9-of-10 on extra points) and punter Pat O’Donnell (12 punts, 42.9-yard average). For Miami, Kaleb Patterson is 6-of-8 on field goals and 11-of-13 on extra points, and Zac Murphy has punted 23 times for a 40.9 average.
