WEST CHESTER TWP. —
A West Chester Twp. man his been indicted for allegedly having sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.
Steven R. Jackson, 25, 7002 Spruce Hill Circle, is facing two counts of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony, according to Butler County grand jury records.
The alleged crimes occurred in 2009 and 2010, the indictment says.
Assistant Butler County Prosecutor Jennifer McElfresh said Jackson is an acquaintance of the child.
Jackson was arrested in December and appeared in Butler County Area III Court. He was released on bond after the case was bound over for grand jury consideration. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 5 in Butler County Common Pleas Court before Judge Charles Pater.
