Bridge repairs next week will require overnight closures of the Union Centre Boulevard overpass at Interstate 75, according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office.

The work is scheduled to take place nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. starting next Monday, Oct. 29, and concluding Wednesday, Oct. 31, weather permitting.

Crews will be making repairs to the bridge approaches, necessitating full closure of the overpass in both directions during the designated time periods. All ramps to and from I-75 will remain open, according to engineer’s office.

Detours will be posted for all entering and exiting I-75 traffic. Motorists heading east on Union Centre Boulevard will detour south on Muhlhauser Road, east on Allen Road, and north on Cincinnati-Dayton Road to west on Union Centre. Motorists traveling west on Union Centre Boulevard will reverse this route.
