MIAMI VALLEY —
Southwest Ohio will be sunny tomorrow, in sharp contrast to a blizzard impacting the Northeast, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson.
However the blizzard will have an indirect impact on the area — drawing cold air in from Canada.
Temperatures will be in the 20s this evening, falling into the upper teens overnight and then rising to the mid-30s midday Saturday with light winds.
“We’ll drop back into the 20s Saturday night and hit our low in the mid 20s just after midnight, then rise back to about 30 degrees at sunrise Sunday,” Simpson said. “We’ll cloud up but warm up, into the mid to upper 40s in the afternoon.”
Rain will arrive by day’s end and will continue Sunday night, tapering off around sunrise Monday.
“So we will have wet roads for the Monday morning commute, but see improvements through the day.” Simpson said.
Some sun will return in the afternoon as temperatures hold in the 40s all day. Tuesday will be sunnier but cooler with a high near 40 degrees after a start in the upper 20s. Similar temperatures are expected Wednesday with clouds.
