Police reports: Marijuana found in City Jail

Feb. 14

Two charcoal grills with smokers were stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Dorset Drive.

Feb. 18

A Middletown woman, Kirsten Frazier, 33, of Middletown was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found driving a vehicle with expired temporary tags in the area of Yankee Road. She was driving without a license and she had warrants through Scott County (Ind.) Sheriff’s Office. Two cut straws with a white, powdery residue were found inside her purse. She told police she occasionally snorts cocaine.

Feb. 19

A bag of marijuana was found in the Middletown City Jail.

A woman stole $35 worth of merchandise from Family Dollar, 515 S. Breiel Blvd., and when she was stopped at the door by an employee, she was told the police were being called. The woman got into a vehicle and left the scene. The license plate didn’t match the description of the car.

Porch awning and rails were stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Seventeenth Avenue. The back porch was stolen and the railings were ripped out of the cement in the ground.

A woman reported that her purse and that $375 in cash and miscellaneous ID cards were stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of Waneta Avenue.

A grill was stolen from behind an apartment in the 1600 block of Jackson Lane.

Feb. 20

A Columbus man allegedly had cashed five checks for $3,800.65 at different First Financial Bank locations throughout the area.
