Police reports: 2 teens accused of stealing from WalMart

Dec. 6

A rock was thrown through a glass door before 11:37 p.m. at Yesterday’s Consignment Shop, 3246 Cincinnati Dayton Road. Police said the cash register had been stolen.

Dec. 7

An exterior air conditioning unit was stolen before 8 p.m. from a home in the 1800 block of Sherman Avenue.

Two Richmond, Ind., girls, ages 13 and 14, were arrested at 7:11 p.m. at Walmart, 2900 Towne Blvd., on suspicion of felony theft. Police say the girls stole $1,616 worth of merchandise. Their guardians were contacted from Indiana to pick them up and have been summonsed to Warren County Juvenile Court.

Dec. 8

A 46-year-old homeless man was arrested at 5:27 p.m. at Dillman’s, 2100 Central Ave., on suspicion of theft. Police say he stole $16 worth of sausages.

Two air conditioning units were stolen before 9:06 p.m. from the 000 block of Clark Street.

Dec. 9

A television and PlayStation 3 were stolen before 12:45 a.m. from a home in the 1000 block of Park Lane. Police say the sliding glass door was forced open.

A reciprocating saw, cordless drill, cordless drill driver, two gallons of paint and two gallons of primer were stolen before 12:57 p.m. in the 3700 block of Ellis Way. The total value of the items stolen was reported to be $579.

A XBox video game was stolen before 6 p.m. from an apartment in the 1700 block of Central Avenue.

Dec. 10

An electric guitar was stolen before 3:20 p.m. from a home in the 2600 block of Flemming Road. Police say the friend of the owner’s sister stolen the guitar and possibly pawned it.

A laptop computer was stolen before 8:41 p.m. from a home in the 3100 block of Rufus Street. Police say a man looking to do odd jobs stole the laptop and sold it to a Middletown man who only would give it back after police were involved. The man who allegedly stole the laptop has not been arrested.
