Police report: Man attacked on bike

A Middletown man, 56, said he was riding his bike near the 4000 block of Tytus Avenue, when a car pulled up, and two men, described as white and in their 30s or 40s, pointed a gun at him and asked, “Do you want to die?” The car then tried to run him off the road and he wrecked his bike. He was treated and released from Atrium Medical Center in Middletown.

Before a woman, who lives in the 3700 block of Vannest Avenue, left for a wedding, she chained her lawn mower to a cinderblock, but when she returned, the block was broken and her mower was stolen.

Several items were stolen from a garage in the 700 block of Charles Street. Two lawn mowers, four fishing poles, tacklebox, circular saw, go-kart and ladder were listed as the items stolen.

Two men were found passed out in McDonald’s, 2351 N. Verity Parkway. Bryant Abbott, 22 of Franklin, was found in a booth near the men’s bathroom. He was charged with possession of heroin after four capsules fell out of his pants.

A Middletown woman told police that nearly $1,000 was charged on her debit card at a Home Depot in Florida.

A woman said while she was in the Middletown jail, someone stole a flat-screen TV and an Iphone from her residence.

Five surveillance cameras were stolen from inside Chip’s Laundry, 1315 S. Breiel Blvd.

A Hamilton man was charged with several offenses after police found cocaine on him during a traffic stop. Marcus Martin, 21, was pulled over by Middletown police in the 200 block of McKinley Street after he allegedly didn’t use his turn signal. When Martin exited his vehicle, he ran from police and he was caught after a short foot chase. When he resisted arrest, he was Tased by police. He was charged with drug abuse, cocaine; resisting arrest, driving under suspension, seat belt violation, and turn signal violation.

Several catalytic converters were reported stolen from R&Z Auto Parts, 2608 Oxford State Road. The owner said this has been an on-going problem in the area salvage yards.

An aluminum ladder was stolen outside a garage in the 200 block of Lamberton Street.
