Police blotter: Go-kart reported stolen

Oct. 2

Someone stole 75 DVDs, three boxes of Magic the Game cards, $1,198 worth of music recording equipment, a television, a shotgun, two electric guitars and an amplifier before 5 p.m. from the 2000 block of Grand Avenue. The reported total value of the items stolen was reported to be $14,000.

Oct. 3

A 21-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 1:11 a.m. at Walmart, 2900 Towne Blvd., on suspicion of petty theft, drug abuse (marijuana) and possession of marijuana.

A go-kart and medicine were stolen before 7 a.m. from a home in the 3100 block of Rufus Street.

Someone stole an air-conditioning window unit before 12:20 p.m. from a home in the 400 block of Moore Street. The value of the unit is reported to be $450.

A 42-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman, both of Milford, were arrested at 1:10 p.m. at Walmart, 2900 Towne Blvd. on suspicion of petty theft. Police say they stole $607 worth of merchandise.

Someone stole copper coil from an air-conditioning unit before 2:12 p.m. from a basement in the 100 block of Garfield Street.

A 47-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 3:49 p.m. at Walmart, 2900 Towne Blvd. on suspicion of petty theft. Police say she stole $nearly $73 worth of merchandise.

A camcorder, digital camera and DVD player were stolen before 8:50 p.m. from a home in the 3200 block of Mohawk Street.

Oct. 4

An air-conditioner was found around 6:25 a.m. on a creeper in an alley next to a residential garage in the 2200 block of Arlington Avenue. The owner of the unit, which had electrical equipment removed, belonged to the owner of the garage.

Two air-conditioning units were stolen before 7:45 p.m. from a business in the 1000 block of Summit Drive.

There were 16 campaign signs, one business sign and one garage sale sign were stolen and found in the back of a vehicle in the 4800 block of Wicklow Drive. The driver said he was playing a joke on a friend by placing them in his yard. He was not charged with theft of the signs, but was issued a citation for a seat belt violation.

Someone stole a GPS unit, small knife, small amount of change and medicine from a home in the 2110 block of Bryant Street.

Oct. 5

A 33-year-old Franklin woman was arrested at 8:13 a.m. at UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway, on suspicion of petty theft. Police say she stole a bottle of Mountain Dew.

A television was stolen before 9:30 a.m. from a home in the 3900 block of Bonita Drive.
