MIDDLETOWN —
A Middletown man was assaulted during an alleged robbery attempt on Nov. 17 in the 1000 block of Woodside Boulevard, according to police.
The 51-year-old man told police that he was inside the residence when someone kicked in the front door, demanded money, and asked for his wallet. When he couldn’t find his wallet, he was hit over the head with the gun. He was treated at the scene by Middletown paramedics, according to police.
The man was at the residence collecting rent for the building he owns, he told police. Police were unable to find anyone in the area matching the suspect’s description.
