CLEARCREEK TWP. — A 34-year-old woman suffered a head injury here Saturday afternoon after she fell from the back of a moving pickup truck.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the 4000 block of Ohio 741, less than a mile north of the Five Points intersection, according to Clearcreek Twp. Fire Capt. Kent Clary.
The woman was flown by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital.
It is unclear why the woman fell from the moving vehicle, Clary said.
“This was pretty unusual,” he said. “It’s not something you have a lot, somebody falling out of the back of a truck like that.”
