DAYTON — Heather Sims, who allegedly attacked a man 10 months ago with a stiletto-heeled shoe, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on warrants for felonious assault and misdemeanor theft.

Sims, 27, was taken from the Montgomery County Regional Jail to Dayton police headquarters, but declined to talk with detectives, Dayton Police Sgt. Dan Mauch said. She was taken back to the jail Wednesday morning.

Outside police headquarters, Sims told reporters she had turned herself in. Otherwise, she walked in silence to the jail, handcuffed and escorted by two detectives.

Sims was one of four or five women who mistakenly attacked a Good Samaritan at a McDonald’s drive-thru on Free Pike on June 27. Anthony Miliner was struck in the eye with a stiletto heel and has lost vision in that eye, police said. Witnesses captured the attack on their cell phones.

According to police, Miliner, 35, and his brother were in the drive-thru line around 3 a.m. when they saw the couple in the car ahead of them arguing. The man then started beating the woman, finally shoving the woman from the car.

The victim and his brother got out of their truck and went to assist the woman. Then a blue Chevrolet Suburban pulled up next to them and four to five women piled out, accusing Miliner of hurting the woman he went to aid.

The Miliner and his brother got back into their truck after trying to explain to the women they were only trying to help. The women crowded around the passenger door and began hitting and spitting on the Good Samaritan through the open window. One woman ran up to the truck and violently striking the man several times with what appears to be a high-heeled shoe, police said.

The women then fled.

Sims faces one count of felonious assault, a fifth-degree felony, in the attack. She also had an outstanding misdemeanor theft warrant from Miami Twp., according to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Major Dave Hale.
