Dec. 3

An employee who stole a $100 gift card from Walmart was terminated from his position.

A window of a home in the 1100 block of Young Street was damaged by a BB gun.

A $900 Ruger ranch rifle was reported stolen from a home in the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue.

A $500 leaf blower was reported stolen from an unlocked garage of a home in the 500 block of Kensington Street.

A woman reported she dropped her wallet somewhere between her car and apartment in the 3900 block of Helton Drive, and when she returned, it was gone.

Three bottles of prescriptions, Seroquic, Haldol and Xanax, were reported stolen from a residence in the 1400 block of Penfield Avenue.

Nearly $800 of video consoles and games were reported stolen from an apartment in the 5100 block of Woodridge Drive.

A woman who lives in the 2400 block of Roosevelt Avenue told police a friend of hers came over to give her a ride to the grocery store. When the resident went to the bathroom and she returned, the $100 that was on the table, and her friend, were gone.

Dec. 4

Two air conditioners, valued at $5,000 each, were reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Tytus Avenue. The owner of the complex, John Ridge, told police he wasn’t sure when the units were stolen.

An air conditioner at Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark St., was stripped of its parts, a maintenance man reported. No value of the unit was listed.

A diamond tennis bracelet, Seiko watch and 55-year commemorative Armco money chip were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Woodburn Avenue.

A Middletown woman, who was standing on the porch of her home in the 800 block of 18th Avenue, told police a man grabbed her by the hair, slammed her against a wall and pulled a knife. She escaped from the man and he ran down Minnesota Street. He was chased by the woman’s neighborhood and a K-9 officer was unable to locate the man.

A man said while he was smoking outside the Middletown City Building, 1 Donham Plaza, he dropped his wallet, which contained $200 in cash. When he returned, the wallet was gone.
