Man dumps tires before fleeing

Aug. 12

The theft of a trailer, toolbox with tools and an air compressor occurred before 8:30 p.m. parked in the 1900 block of Wellington Road.

Aug. 13

A 32-year-old Middletown man and a 42-year-old Franklin woman were arrested at 4:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of Navaho Street. The woman was charged with assault and the man was charged with inciting violence during an altercation in the street.

Aug. 14

The theft of $350 to $400 occurred before 4 p.m. from Shirley’s Rock-N-Country Bar, 4304 Tytus Ave. The owner believes and employee stole the money from the bar’s safe.

Aug. 15

The theft of $45 and two necklaces, valued at $130, occurred before 8:34 a.m. from a home in the 200 block of Lylburn Road.

The theft of a lawn mower occurred before 9:37 a.m. from a home in the 600 block of Auburn Street.

Someone had dumped a half-truck bed worth of tires at 1:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of Meadow Avenue until a neighbor yelled at the man in the back of the pickup truck. The truck bed was still half full of tires when it left.
