PREBLE COUNTY —
A man indicted on sex charges in Preble County was being investigated for nearly two years.
The Preble County Sheriff’s Office said allegations for sexual abuse by suspect Thomas Scott date back to 2004. An investigation was launched in December 2010.
A Preble County grand jury recently indicted Scott on four counts of rape of a victim younger than 13, two counts of sexual battery with sexually violent predator specifications, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of rape.
Scott was arrested Nov. 12 and is in the Preble County Jail on $200,000 bond.
