Some local children are celebrating a special birthday today as they are turning 12 on 12-12-12.
Jack Greenlee from West Chester was born on Dec. 12, 2000. His family has been anticipating his 12 birthday for years. In his honor, 12 of his family members will gather today to celebrate at a local restaurant.
Kariann Lawhorn and Brooke Fogel are also turning 12 today. Also, twins Adrienne and Arin Derouen of Beavercreek are turning 12 years old today.
All of the children are celebrating with family and friends.
It will be another 1,000 years before a date with a consecutive date sequence will happen.
