Clouds passing through Friday afternoon will leave the Miami Valley with fairly clear skies tonight, but an advancing cold front may deliver some light flurries into Monday morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson says.
Tonight, a light southwest breeze will remainand temperatures will drop slightly overnight as far as the upper 20s to about 30 to start Saturday.
Saturday is shaping up to be the best day of the weekend as there will be plenty of sun with afternoon highs in the mid 40s, said Simpson, who notes that one negative will be winds expected to reach 20 mph to 30 mph by the end of the day.
A cold front expected to move through by Sunday morning will bring slow moving arctic air over the next few days, said Simpson. It will be cloudy Sunday and Monday. That sets up the possibility for a few light flurries overnight Sunday into the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Monday. No accumulation is expected.
