DEERFIELD TWP. —

Warren County Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint over the weekend.

A man walked into the BP gas station at the intersection of Columbia Road and U.S. 22/Ohio 3 at 11:16 a.m. Saturday, and demanded money after threatening the clerk with a black handgun, said Chief Deputy John Newsom of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. The man was on foot and appeared to enter the property from Columbia Road.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male, between the ages of 30 and 32 and between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall. He has blonde or light brown hair, a light beard and was wearing a white shirt with a button-down collar and brown vertical stripes, khaki shorts and flip-flops, Newsom said.

The suspect is believed to have possibly parked in the CVS parking lot adjacent to the gas station prior to the robbery.
