LEBANON —

Two men have allegedly been soliciting sex from girls in Warren County.

A Warren County grand jury indicted two men Friday for allegedly trying to get girls to give them oral sex in unrelated incidents.

Nicholas Maxwell, 26, of West Carrollton, faces a possible eight-year prison term if he is found guilty on one count of second-degree felony importuning. Prosecutor David Fornshell said Maxwell allegedly contacted a 12-year-old girl he was acquainted with between Sept. 23 and 24 through her cell phone and Facebook and asked her to perform oral sex on him.

The felony charge was upped because Maxwell has a prior conviction, according to Fornshell.

“The defendant had a prior conviction for rape of a child under the age of 13 as a juvenile,” he said.

A second man, Jason Fletcher, 36, of Franklin, could face a year in prison, if he is found guilty on one fifth-degree felony count of importuning. Fornshell said Fletcher allegedly sent a text and asked a 13-year-old Carlisle girl for oral sex, between Dec. 19 and Jan. 3.
