Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan are returning to the campaign trail in the Buckeye State next week for a three-day bus tour that includes a stop in Dayton, the Romney campaign announced.

Ryan will kick off the three-day bus tour with a stop in Lima on Monday and then on Tuesday the duo will appear together in Cincinnati. Later on Tuesday, Romney will appear in Dayton.

On Wednesday, Romney will make stops in Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo.

The Romney campaign is billing the bus tour as the “Romney Plan for a Stronger Middle Class.”

The stops will include town hall meetings, rallies and media interviews. It’ll be Ryan’s sixth trip to Ohio this year and Romney’s 16th.

The tour will be Romney’s first appearance in Ohio since video surfaced of him speaking at a private fundraiser in May where he said that he doesn’t worry about the 47 percent of Americans who pay no income taxes.

Romney said they “believe the government has a responsibility to care for them … believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that’s an entitlement…I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

The remarks ignited a firestorm of criticism of Romney and angst within the GOP ranks about how the videotape may impact the tight presidential race.
