The West Chester Twp. location of IKEA is offerings three days of giveaways to mark the completion of its redecoration project.

The Accessories Marketplace, located at 9500 IKEA Way, now has an updated merchandising platform in departments including cookware, bedding, lighting, home organization and textiles, to ensure customers are inspired by the most current display layouts and standards, according to the company.

IKEA West Chester will mark the official reopening of the Marketplace from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.

Activities include: a gift card giveaway to the first 100 people each day valued from $5 to $250; free breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m. each day; an “Eat For Free” option for shoppers spending $100 or more on home furnishings; a soft toy giveaway to the first 100 children each day; and daily specials.

“After several months of hard work, we are thrilled to fully reopen our Marketplace section to customers,” said Heather Spatz, local store manager. “They now will find more inspiring, updated displays, new products, a redesigned layout and an even better shopping experience.”

For nearly three months, IKEA West Chester underwent a phased transformation of the store’s entire marketplace level to include new displays, product bins, shelving and merchandise communications. The initiative also reshaped the flow of the marketplace.

The West Chester Twp. store — located on 30 acres along Interstate 75 near Union Centre Boulevard — opened in 2008 and features 344,000-square-feet. The store offers 10,000 exclusively-designed items across 50 different room-settings, three model home interiors, a supervised children’s play area and a 400-seat restaurant.
