SPRINGBORO —
A woman who hit the gas pedal instead of the brake sent her car into the side of the Applebee’s restaurant on West Central Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
Police and fire/rescue crews were dispatched to the restaurant, 881 W. Central Ave., at about 4:15 p.m. on a report of a vehicle into the building.
She wasn’t hurt, police said, and they did not issue her a citation because of the accident.
“Everybody’s OK,” said the manager, who identified himself only as Mark. He also noted that the restaurant didn’t have to close because of the accident.
