MIDDLETOWN —

RZ Auto Parts, which opened this summer, is planning an expansion for next month on a recently purchased property.

The business’ new location will occupy a 7,600-square-foot industrial facility on nearly three acres at 2410 Oxford-State Road, Middletown.

Rudolfo Zendejas purchased the property for $155,000, according to the Butler County Auditor’s Office.

The new location will support existing automobile-related operations at adjacent facilities and will service cars and sell used auto parts.

Zendejas, who also owns RZ Auto Sales in Hamilton, said he is very excited about expanding his newest business.

“I’ve had the car lot for seven or eight years and … sometimes I have cars with problems,” he said. “The new property allows us to add repair and service capabilities to our (existing) business.”

That feature, along with the close proximity to Zendejas’ existing salvage yard less than half a mile away, makes the new location “the perfect facility” for the business, he said.

RZ Auto Parts employs two people, including Zendejas’ brother, Hector. Rudolfo Zendejas said he plans to hire an additional three people in the future to support the new operations.
