FAIRFIELD —

Dozens of friends and family of Julian Slaven packed Fairfield Municipal Court Tuesday to see for themselves the suspects accused of his homicide.

Police arrested Jerry Eacholes, 26, of Middletown, Misty Williams, 19 and Christia Frymire, 19, both of Fairfield, in connection with the Slaven homicide that occurred Dec. 6. They have been charged with aggravated murder and were ordered to be held without bond Tuesday by Fairfield Municipal Court Judge Joyce Campbell. They are expected to reappear in court for a preliminary hearing December 6.

“If only I had Julian’s rage and strength and anger to just put on them,” said his sister, Taylor Slaven, who called one of the defendants a “crack whore.”

Saying that both female defendants knew her brother and went to school with him, Taylor Slaven said, “They’re greedy and selfish and decided they have no heart.” She indicated she did not know Eacholes.

Joseph Goodin, 25, also suspected in the killing of Slaven, turned himself in to police at about 2:15 p.m., after the court hearing, according to Fairfield police Officer Doug Day.

Goodin pleaded guilty last year to an attempted felony domestic violence charge in Butler County Common Pleas Court and was sentenced to 11 months in prison, with credit for 122 days, according to court records.

Eacholes was part of the Baltimore Street Gang based in Middletown and was sentenced to one year in prison on an attempted participating in a criminal gang charge last December in Butler County. He was given credit for the 12 months he already spent behind bars.
