SEVEN MILE — One person is dead following a Friday night structure fire, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Angela Tipton, 40 of 4150 Hamilton-Eaton Road in the Edgewood Mobile Home Park, was found deceased inside her residence after fire crews were able to extinguish the fire, the release said.

Fire crews were called to scene at approximately 11:35 p.m. Friday. Deputies were already on the scene attempting to make entry into the residence, but could not due to the conditions, according to the release.

The fire appears to be caused by an alternate heat source, according to the release, but Seven Mile Fire Chief Larry Wilson said the fire remains under investigation.

Also responding to the scene were fire departments from Wayne and St. Clair townships, the Butler County Arson Team, the Ohio Fire Marshal’s office and the Butler County Coroner’s office.
