Woman in stable condition after injury at local waterpark

MASON — An 18-year-old woman was reportedly in stable condition at Bethesda North Hospital after suffering a reported neck injury at The Beach waterpark on Saturday, July 4.

Mason Fire Lt. David Manning said his department was still gathering information from the water park early Saturday evening. He said the woman reportedly hit her head on one of the water rides sometime before 4 p.m. Saturday. Manning said he did not know what ride the woman was injured on.

He said that Deerfield Twp. paramedics transported the woman to Bethesda North. Manning had no other information on the incident.
