An overturned car was to blame for a early morning backup today on southbound Interstate 75.
The one-vehicle accident occurred around 7:37 a.m. today, March 22 and forced a car to overturn and land against a wall on southbound I-75 near between Ohio 122 in Middletown and Ohio 123 in Franklin, according to dispatchers with the Ohio Highway Patrol.
A woman was transported to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, but has been released from the hospital. Police were not able to give details on the accident and said it remains under investigation.
Traffic was backed up for more than three miles after the accident, but dispatchers said traffic was flowing as of 10 a.m.
