MIDDLETOWN — TV Middletown is still off the air and the Community Pregnancy Center is preparing to move into a new temporary home after their building was flooded Sunday.
TV Middletown will likely be off air for another day or two due to wet electrical panels, while the pregnancy center is moving a few blocks away.
The TV Middletown building, 1131 Central Ave., was flooded Sunday when a water line to the building’s sprinkler system burst. Community Pregnancy Center Executive Director Candice Keller said her first-floor offices received most of the damage.
Keller outlined the need the pregnancy center has in a letter she sent earlier this week to donors. She said it would take two to three months to repair the building’s first floor.
The pregnancy center will be at Enabled Ministry, 1035 Central Ave., until it can move back into the TV Middletown building.
A special relief fund account, CPC Relief Fund, has been set up at LCNB. Donations can also be sent to the center while they are at Enabled Ministry.
Keller hopes to be back into the old facility before the center’s April 21 “Walk for Life” event at Towne Mall.
Keller said the community support and attention “has been incredibly overwhelming.”
Grace Baptist Pastor Roger Green said the pregnancy center cannot afford to be closed.
“We believe in that ministry and what they are doing, and the aid and help they are giving to the people that need it,” he said.
He said Enabled Ministry has the space available “and if we are able to help while the repairs are being made, we are glad to do so.”
The pregnancy center provides free counseling and baby clothes, formula, diapers and other baby supplies to pregnant teens, Keller said. About 1,800 teens a year are assisted.

TV Middletown will be on the air as soon as the building’s electrical panels are dried, said TV Middletown Executive Director Ty Thomas. He said it could be today, but “I’m thinking it’ll be a day or so.”
“Hopefully it won’t hurt our viewership,” said Thomas.
Thomas said crews continue to record new programming, but programs cannot be edited until power is restored.
While new programming isn’t posted to the TV Middletown website until it airs, Thomas said he’s making an exception due to the circumstances.
