Several fire crews battling blaze

WAYNE TWP. — Butler County dispatchers said late Monday night fire crews from several areas continued to fight a reported structure fire on Wayne Trace Road.

Firefighters were still battling the fire shortly before 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10.

County dispatchers received a call that lightning struck the house at 6164 Wayne Trace. The call also reported flames were shooting through the roof.

The call came in at 9:16 p.m. today, Aug. 10. There were no reports of injuries as of late Monday night.

Somerville, Seven Mile and Milford Twp. fire crews responded to a mutual aid call by the Wayne Twp. Fire Department to help battle the fire.

What a fire could be put out in Ohio without the help of the overstaffed/overpaid Hamilton Fire Dept!
