Parade organizers are looking for participants for the third annual Santa parade, which will take pace at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov, 28 in downtown Middletown.

The parade will start at the Middletown Public Library on 125 S, Broad St., then move up Broad Street Governor’s Square Park at the intersection with Central Ave.

The parade will feature numerous floats and performing groups from the Middletown area in the style of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. New to the parade this year is a holiday market around Governor’s Square, from 3 to 7 p.m. For more information or to obtain an application form, call (513) 594-8796 or (513) 425-7312, or e-mail santaparade2009@earthlink.net.

Why are our governments such chicken s--ts?? Are Jews not allowed to say Hannikah? A tree at Christmas is a CHRISTMAS TREE. Why are you allowing these idiots tell us what we can do, say or celebrate. You are making the work Christ a dirty word. Pretty soon we will be fined if we use that word in public. We need to put our foot down and stop this insanity before it goes any further. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL and to you non believers--%#$+ off!!!

I think our city leaders should donate their time to help Middletown run this event...as a way to thank us for their re-election.

They should also make sure this year that backround checks are done any EVERYONE applying...this is a perfect place to sex offenders to access our kids, and in years past it was public knowledge that this happened!

I would love to assist. However, as long as our "leaders" continue to refer to the decdorated tree as a "Holiday Tree", I wilol not grace the downtown or help in any way. This is the Christmas season and it should be called a Christmas tree. Enough of the *#%$#* policital correctness, already!!!!!!!
